  • The green one produced from broccoli sprouts contains the same amount of sulforaphane as found in 418g of raw broccoli. This compound is part of the reason we get told to eat “5-a-day”. It dampens inflammation and oxidative stress. This keeps us looking/feeling young.

  • Super strength Omega-3 oils do the same via a different mechanism.

  • NMN and Trans-Resveratrol, the core ‘fuel‘ and ‘activator’ of the primary antiaging sirtuin pathway.

Morning

  • The large white capsules contain NMN and Trans-Resveratrol. Resveratrol is famous for being the molecule in red wine which makes mediterranean diets so healthy and beneficial for staying young and healthy. They do this by activating the sirtuin pathway. The sirtuin pathway also requires high levels of NAD to be effective but NAD levels decline with age. NMN has been shown to raise NAD levels. I reccommend reading “lifespan” by David Sinclair the harvard protessor which discovered this pathway.

  • Sulforaphane is the green supplement. It is equivalent to 418g of raw broccoli. This activates liver enzymes that remove the toxic aldehydes produced when drinking alcohol.

    Depending on dose this can double the rate of the removal of these toxins from your blood, theoretically halving hangovers - I’ve felt this effect. On top of that this is one of the reasons eating “5 fruit and veg a day” is so healthy (been doing that every day?) - it cuts inflammation (therefore reducing aging as well as the risk of developing heart disease/cancer/dementia ).

  • This yellow tablet is a general multivitamin, containing high strength B vitamins, minerals and functional plant extracts. This is an especially beneficial supplement for those who drink alcohol as it replaces the B vitamins alcohol leaches from the body. For the rest of us it just helps boost our energy levels and immune function.

  • This is the small, flat white tablet. Most people have low vitamin D levels due to our reduced exposure to sunlight in the northern hemisphere, wearing clothing that covers most of our skin and changes in spending most of our time indoors. By correcting this deficiency, we can improve immunity.

    Vitamin K should be taken with D as VItamin D influences calcium metabolism. This leads to calcium deposition which can result in narrowing of the arteries, indirectly increasing blood pressure and chances of heart disease developing. Therefore, this makes Vitamin K crucial as it prevents calcium from being deposited in the artery walls.

  • Lions mane has been shown to improve cognitive function across different age groups, with the research suggesting that it can stimulate the growth of brain cells.

    Studies have also shown that lions mane could have an impact upon mood and stress levels.

  • TMG improves athletic performance and has the potential to reduce homocysteine levels. High homocysteine levels increase the risk of cardiovascular disease.

    When taken alongside NMN, the following interactions and benefits are observed:

    Enhanced NAD+ production: NMN increases NAD+ levels in the body which is fundamental to supporting cellular energy production and metabolic health. TMG can help reduce any potential increase in homocysteine levels which occurs as a result of this enhanced NAD+ production. This is importance because elevated homocysteine levels are linked to an increased risk of heart disease and stroke.

    Methylation support: NMN metabolism involves methylation processes which can deplete methyl donors like TMG. It is important to therefore take a TMG supplement in order to replenish these methyl donors to support the methylation balance in the body.
